Price-optimised Rittal Slim-Box version now available in VME/CPCI and neutral design.
Intelligent electronic packaging creates space and is flexibly tailored to the user’s specific requirements. Rittal has addressed the trend for smaller, more powerful systems with its innovative 482.6 mm (19”) rack mounted system, the Slim-Box. Thanks to the horizontal mounting of all functional components, twice the number of rack-mounted computers may be integrated on 1, 2, 3 or 4 U (2, 4, 6 or 8). Two slots per U are available for CPCI or VME boards at the front and rear. Three new standard versions have been added to the Rittal range: The Slim-Box is available as a rack mounted system without backplane, including power supply for individual configuration, or with backplane and power supply for VME or CPCI applications. Depending on their specific requirements, users can devise individual solutions for the configuration of industrial computers. |
