| Kaparel announces Strategic Integration & Sales Agreement with Trilogic Systems |

Kaparel Corporation is proud to announce that it has entered into a strategic integration and sales agreement with Trilogic Systems in Wilmington, MA. Under the agreement, Trilogic Systems, a co-source integrator of mission-critical, high availability communications platforms will provide Kaparel with integration services for selected OEM customers. In addition, Trilogic Systems has agreed to sell and market Kaparel's line of standard and custom high-speed backplanes and services to telecom customers through its direct sales force on the East Coast. Under a manufacturer's representative agreement, Trilogic Systems will be responsible for coverage of the New York, New Jersey, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut territories.
The move to expand its sales force and integration capabilities is part of Kaparel's overall plan to become the leader in high-speed backplanes for the global telecom market and follows Kaparel's recent acquisition of Jardon Engineering, Inc., Tustin California, one of the leading PCB design houses. Ben Robitaille, President and CEO of Kaparel stated "The appointment of Manufacturer's Representatives, the purchase of the California PCB design house, and our new integration agreement positions us as a full service supplier of high speed backplanes. It will offer customers a one source solution that will be important in the industry to bring product applications rapidly to market."
Commenting on the appointment of Trilogic Systems, Eric Huffman, Sales Channels/Partners Manager for Kaparel stated, "We are please that Trilogic Systems is the first of our US representatives to be appointed and as a leader in their industry, they can offer technological leadership and support of our products to the customers." Mr. Huffman is responsible for the establishment and management of Kaparel's sales and strategic partners in the US marketplace.

Kaparel Corporation is currently aligning themselves with major Manufacturer's Representative organizations in other areas in the US which target the telecom market, to support their products and services, like the recently announced PS4900 CompactPCI Packet Switch Backplane that is based on the PICMIG 2.16 draft specification.
