| Kaparel Corporation announces new 2001-2002 CompactPCI Catalog |

Kaparel Corporation today announced the launch of their new 2001 – 2002 CompactPCI catalog. The new catalog is a follow-up to their first catalog released in the Summer of 2000. The catalog highlights Kaparel’s continued success in custom solutions, along with their extensive line of standard CompactPCI products including the low profile bridge solutions, thermal development products and modular backplanes.
Kaparel President and CEO, Ben Robitaille comments, "The new catalog includes the latest product offering of CompactPCI architecture products – cPCI-SCSI hard drives, Power Entry Modules (PEMs) thermal development tools and integration services. The catalog has something for everyone - those who are just beginning to discover the benefits of CompactPCI, as well as established users who are looking to expand their current systems. It continues to be a great reference tool for system developers in the industry."
The full color catalog provides an updated listing of many of the over 200 designs that Kaparel has completed since its inception, complete with all specification and pin out information. The three modular series of backplanes provide an excellent solution for low volume applications, or in situations that require many different configurations in Converging Communications (Telecom and Data) market. These modular backplanes may be bridged together to increase the slot count beyond 8 slots on any one backplane.
